Baltimore Junior Golf Tour

Baltimore City's municipal golf courses, in association with MECU, take great pride in presenting the Baltimore Junior Golf Tour. For more than 20 years Baltimore City’s municipal golf courses have provided junior golfers with opportunities to play competitive golf. The Tour is open to junior players of all ages and abilities. Boys' and Girls' Flights are offered in four divisions determined by age on August 15, 2018: Champion - Ages 15 to 17; Sport - Ages 12 to 14; Player - Ages 9 to 11; Pee Wee - Ages 5 to 8. Division assignments may also be adjusted to better accommodate a participant's ability, but such adjustments require BJGT committee approval.
For the past several years, MECU has generously provided scholarship funds that are awarded to the Player of the Year and the Runner Up from the Champion Division of both Flights. Player of the Year points are accumulated based on how each junior golfer finishes in each event in which they play. At season's end, Player of the Year is awarded to the winners of each flight in each division. The best 7 of 10 finishes will be used to determine each Division’s Player of the Year. There are significant prizes awarded to the winners and runners-up in all other divisions as well. The Tour is capped off with a Family Fun Day and Awards Banquet.
We are grateful for the continued support of all of our sponsors. This program would not be possible without their assistance.

The Baltimore Junior Golf Tour (BJGT) is focused on developing honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, and respect through golf. We offer this program to help young men, young women, boys and girls become resourceful, and intuitive thinkers. We believe these tournaments benefit the community by facilitating youth to be responsible, confident with humility, and learn to utilize good judgment, in their golf and personal lives. We introduced this program in the hope that they will become role models and develop leadership for the good of all.

Dear Coach Dreyer,
My husband and I want to thank you for another successful BJGT season. Your program is so well organized - we have recommended it to many junior players! It truly shows that both you and Lawrence care about your junior golfers. You care about how they plan and how they are in general. You both are making a difference in the lives of many young golfers! See you again next season if not sooner!
Sincerely,
