Our goal is to establish a solid foundation for each junior whether brand new to the game or a more experienced player. Our approach to the game is two-fold. The fundamentals will be stressed so that every participant will learn the importance of a good grip, set-up, posture, alignment, short game and full swing fundamentals. We also emphasize the "play" aspect of the game. Some juniors are more competitive than others. We encourage and challenge these children in different ways than we might juniors who are not so competitive in nature. We hope that each junior will develop a love for the game that will last a lifetime.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON A TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP

Campers are dropped off between 8:45 and 9:15 each morning. Juniors are grouped by age, ability and often a request to be paired with a friend or friends. Three groups of 10-12 campers and two coaches are joined to make the experience more fun while maintaining safety and an ideal instructional setting.

Mornings are typically spent working on skills as the groups move through stations at the putting greens, driving range and the BGA instructional area. Drills, video analysis, games, Top Tracer and low-key competitions play a significant part in the learning process.

Lunch is provided in our clubhouse and we take approximately 20-30 minutes to eat and refresh before heading out on the course.

After lunch the campers and their coaches head out on the course to apply their skills and play golf. The day ends between 1:45 and 2:15, depending on the assigned drop off time, and parents are asked to be prompt for pick up as many of the coaches have to go on to other jobs or practices.
