Developing the Next Generation of Leaders—On and Off the Course

Mission Statement

At Baltimore Golf Academy, we believe in developing leaders, not just golfers. The Junior Leadership & Coaching Certification Program is designed to equip high school and college students with the skills they need to succeed in any career—through coaching, mentorship, and professional development.

This program is designed to give structured leadership training, public speaking experience, and real-world workplace skills, creating a pathway for young people to make a lasting impact—whether in golf, business, education, or beyond.

🔹 We are not just training golf coaches—we are developing the future leaders of tomorrow.

Program Overview

This structured, three-level certification program provides training in:
Coaching & Leadership Development – Teaching and mentoring young golfers while developing leadership presence.
Public Speaking & Communication – Learning how to articulate ideas, give presentations, and engage with diverse audiences.
Professionalism & Workplace Readiness – Understanding responsibility, teamwork, and real-world work expectations.
Decision-Making & Problem-Solving – Learning to adapt to challenges and guide others effectively.
Time Management & Organization – Balancing responsibilities, staying disciplined, and setting goals.
Mentorship & Emotional Intelligence – Understanding how to inspire and support others in a meaningful way.

A Strong Team of Male and Female Coaches-We understand that young girls are a big part of the game and we are cultivating female high school players to mentor and coach them. We are encouraging our E-Leaders from the LPGA JR Girls Golf Program to share their passion for the game and leadership skills with our young players.

This program is a 3-Way Win:
✅ Young Golfers Win: Junior coaches act as peer mentors, helping new players feel comfortable, confident, and engaged in the game.
✅ Junior Coaches Win: They gain real-world leadership experience, receive professional training, and access scholarships, internships, and career pathways.
✅ The Game of Golf Wins: By developing a new generation of role models and future PGA professionals, we are ensuring sustained growth, diversity, and innovation in the sport.

Empowering the Next Generation of Female Golfers

At Baltimore Golf Academy, we believe that representation matters. Our commitment to growing the game for girls goes beyond instruction—we actively empower young female coaches, high school players, and mentors to become role models and leaders in the sport.

By integrating high school players and aspiring female coaches into our instructional programs, we provide young girls with relatable mentors who inspire confidence, build skills, and foster a lifelong love of golf. These young coaches serve as more than instructors; they create a welcoming, supportive community where girls feel encouraged to participate, compete, and grow.

Program Highlights:

Leadership Development: High school and college-aged female golfers receive hands-on coaching experience, training, and mentorship.

LPGA Leadership Academy: Three of our JR girl coaches have already attended the Leadership Academy and we hope to send 2 more this season.
Peer-to-Peer Connection: Young girls learning the game are paired with relatable female role models who have walked the same path.
Pathways to Careers in Golf: Our program introduces young female athletes to opportunities in coaching, leadership, and beyond.

With the support of the Maryland State Golf Association, and LPGA*USGA JR Girls Golf Program we can expand this initiative, provide additional training for our young female coaches, and continue building a strong, inclusive community of female golfers in Maryland.
